FOR EXAMPLE, IF I PERFORM TOENAIL SURGERY, I COULD REFER MY PATIENT FOR PROPPER SHOES TO ATTEMPT TO TREAT THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM WHICH MAY HAVE BEEN A TIGHT NARROW SHOE. WITHOUT TOTAL TREATMENT SUCH AS PROPPER FITTING SHOES, THE PAINFUL INGROWN TOENAIL MAY POSSIBLY REOCCUR AND WORSEN. LATER ON, I MAY BEGIN TO POST SOME COMMENTS FROM PEDORTHISTS THAT I TRUST.   Regarding foot orthotics,   I PERSONALLY USE STJ ORTHOTICS LABS BECAUSE OF THE PERSONAL ATTENTION THEY GIVE. orthotic fabricated. If I were a patient, I would probably ask my podiatrist about the lab that is fabricating my foot orthotics. As in any podiatric exam, diagnosis or treatment there are no guarantees.

IF SOMEONE HAS POOR CIRCULATION IN THEIR FEET GENERALLY, I BELIEVE THEY SHOULD BE REFERRED TO A VASCULAR SPECIALIST. IF SOMEONE HAS SWOLLEN FEET, THEY SHOULD BE TOLD IF THEY ELEVATE THEIR FEET TOO HIGH, THIS COULD IMPAIR CIRCULATORY FLOW TO THIER FEET. MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL, DO NOT RELY ON ANY ADVICE FOR TREATMENT FROM THIS SITE. BE SEEN IN PERSON BY A PODIATRIST OR A MEDICAL DOCTOR THAT IS LICENSED TO TREAT THE FEET.

BY TAKING A CAST OF THE FOOT IN IT'S OPTIMUM POSITION AND PRESCRIBING THE PROPPER ORTHOTICS NEEDED IS AN ATTEMPT TO TRY TO TREAT VARIOUS FOOT PROBLEMS. THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES.  SOMETIMES ORTHOTICS CAN BE VERY BENEFICIAL WHEN PRESCRIBED AND CASTED BY A PODIATRIST. FOR EXAMPLE I USED AN ORTHOTIC THAT WAS CALLED THE STJ HEEL SPUR SPECIAL FOR HEEL PAIN AND WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS. SOMETIMES ORTHOTICS DO NOT WORK.
